   I found this as well today.
   Should be

   def get_user_by_id(self, userid):
       return self.users_id_dict.get(userid)
   

   It's worth fixing as this is by far the best starting point to making use of the flask-login plugin. The provided documentation is far too verbose, and seeing a coherent example like this goes a long way to making it possible.
