Netplay simply will not work with me. I have tried just letting one instance start netplay, both on one system, all settings correct (server and client ports match how they should, hard sync 16 on because im trying to do infrared trading), and it either chugs or crashes (by chugging i mean ~30 seconds per netplay update in the cmd exe, when usually its like once every second or two). It did this at the start, I kind of just kept restarting on and off for like 2 days before it started working, and without changing anything (to my knowledge) it magically would netplay properly. After another few days though, boom. Crash every time, quote "using different roms (making sure they match), different saves (making sure theyre different), default settings, fully separate downloads, restarting my pc, going in safe mode, running as admin, doing combinations of all of the above, making sure hard sync is on 16 (didnt know it had to be that, probably would make trading a bit easier), it is crashing/chugging (if it chugs itll never work) no matter what".
If you need more information, I'm happy to give more you need, just not exactly sure what to give right now. Doing netplay over two devices also doesn't work, but on my laptop it seemed to open just fine without ever having this issue. I really do not understand.
