  • Lab runs a Ubuntu 24.04 vm under FreeBSD jail environment using FreeBSD Linux compatibility layer. It means that the jail runs FreeBSD rc-scripts to start FreeBSD environment for VNET and start Linux services under chroot(1). This adds an extra layer of support for the jail. Run Linux vms using enjailed bhyve(1).
