Check areas returned from terra

geographic areas, meters and kms, seem to do funny things sometimes. Check that the correct units are being returned.

@Scott-Foster I created an issue to fix the projection/area stuff. Looks like the area given is based on the coordinate system, where I has assume geographic projection. Will fix.
