Summary

  • Bump actions/checkout from v4 to v7 across ci.yml, release.yml, and test.yml (15 occurrences total).
  • Replace codfish/semantic-release-action@v4 with cycjimmy/semantic-release-action pinned to v6.0.0 (b12c8f6015dc215fe37bc154d4ad456dd3833c90) in release.yml. Replaced because codfish was disabled by GitHub after a supply-chain compromise so its tags no longer resolve; cycjimmy is the maintained standard replacement.

Note

Medium Risk
Release tagging behavior depends on the new semantic-release action and plugin wiring; checkout v7 is a broad but routine CI change with low product impact.

Overview
Adds Dependabot for the github-actions ecosystem with weekly updates and a single grouped bump for all action dependencies.

actions/checkout is upgraded from v4 to v7 everywhere it appears in ci.yml, test.yml, and release.yml.

The release workflow swaps codfish/semantic-release-action@v4 for cycjimmy/semantic-release-action pinned to v6.0.0, and configures semantic-release-github-actions-tags via extra_plugins instead of the previous additional-packages input.
