Friendly Blender 🧩 (DO NOT USE 1.1, USE ORIGINAL RELEASE FOR NOW!)

A simple helpful add-on for Blender

(It's completely safe to install btw)

What it does

Friendly Blender applies a cleaner, easier-to-read Blender layout, for individuals who require easier reading and a less cluttered layout.

It does things like:

• Resizing text

• Removing clutter

• Making Blender less overwhelming

It also asks you one simple question:

“Do you like this setup?”

How it works

Install the add-on from Edit -> Preferences -> Addons -> Install from disk

Enable it by ticking it in Edit → Preferences → Add-ons

It applies the settings automatically

A popup asks if you like the setup

If you click Yes, it saves as your Startup File

If you click No, nothing is saved

Why it exists

It exists because of you, and the fact you made me more self-aware and generous means a lot to me, so thank you as much as I can!!! 😊

Also, many users find Blender visually busy or hard to read. This add-on makes Blender simpler and easier to use.

Requirements

Blender 4.3 or newer (Download Blender), it's free and open-source! There is no other Blender out there!!!

Install

Download the latest .py file from RELEASES (it should be near the bottom right if you are on your computer)

Open Blender

Go to Edit → Preferences → Add-ons

Click Install…

Select the file "friendly_blender.py"

Enable Friendly Blender in the list, and it should run. Follow the instructions and answer the few popups as appropriate.
