Open sTeam is a collaboration platform developed at the University of Paderborn in germany. It is no longer developed at the university, but still in use. The original website http://www.open-steam.org has been closed but the archives can still be accessed at :

How to subscribe to the developers mailing list.
1.Create your account on societyserver.org.
2.A verification email will be sent to your registered email.
3.Verify your account by clicking on the link provided in the email.
4.Subscribe to the sTeam.devel mailing list. The link is sTeam.devel.
Please enter your sTeam login id and password.
5.Request a membership for this group.
6.Wait for the group administrator to accept you.
