Summary
Adds Season Progression controls to the Player module, allowing Seasonal XP and Season Rank to be adjusted directly from the Sunrise overlay while keeping the existing progression systems synchronized
This is primarily intended as a development and testing tool
It makes it easier to reproduce and validate progression-related behavior without having to manually earn large amounts of XP between tests, including Artifact Power changes, Season Pass progression, rank-up presentation and reset scenarios
Added controls
The panel also displays
Development and testing use
The controls are useful when developing or debugging systems that depend on seasonal progression
Examples include
The +1 Rank and +5 Ranks actions preserve the current progress inside the rank, which also makes partial-rank scenarios easier to reproduce
Behavior
Season Rank follows the existing progression model
For example
Max Rank moves directly to 9,900,000 XP
Reset Season Progression returns the account to
Purchased Artifact mods are preserved
Artifact integration
Seasonal XP updates the existing Artifact progression and Power Bonus instead of maintaining a separate value
When XP changes
Artifact mod ownership remains character-specific while Seasonal XP and Artifact Power Bonus remain account-wide
Resetting Season Progression does not reset purchased Artifact mods and does not modify the existing native Reset Artifact behavior or its Glimmer cost
Season Rank presentation fix
The HUD progression used after Rank 100 is kept at zero before the Season Pass cap
Previously, feeding partial-rank XP into this progression could trigger an incorrect Rank 100 presentation during normal rank progression
The regular Season Rank progression remains unchanged
Safety and limits
Testing
Tested manually in Release x64 using a clean Sunrise build
Verified
Also tested while in-world in Tower and EDZ
No Season Progression-related errors or crashes were observed during the final test session
