Hi, I’m using Mac Duo on a MacBook Pro 16-inch (2019) with:
- Intel Core i9
- AMD Radeon Pro 5500M
- macOS Sonoma 14.0
The lid angle sensor works correctly, and Mac Duo can read the lid angle in real time.
However, when Depth Effect is enabled and I start closing the lid, the screen shows a strong red / reddish gradient instead of a transparent or natural depth effect.
I have already tried granting Screen Recording permission, restarting the app and macOS, setting Dimming to 0%, setting Blur to 0 or very low, setting Perspective to 0%, and changing other effect settings. The red gradient still remains.
The effect looks normal in terms of geometry, but the captured screen content is heavily tinted red.
So the lid angle detection seems to work normally, but the rendering/color output appears incorrect on this Intel Mac.
Could this be related to the color space, Metal rendering, or Intel/AMD GPU compatibility?
