Bind to functions directly #36

Description

@matklad

Again, thanks for inventing devil mode, been my daily driver for couple of years now, originally in VS Code, now back in Emacs!

One thing I find unusual in the Emacs implementation is that devil mode only maps keys to keys, so, if I want to add a new devil shortcut, I have to first add it as a normal keybinding. Eg, here's how I configure , 2 to run project compile:

  (add-to-list 'devil-translations '(", 2" . "C-x P c"))
  (global-set-key (kbd "C-x P c") #'project-compile)

Note that I never intend to actually use C-x P c, that's essentially a random binding chosen no to conflict with anything else.

I wish I could just

(add-to-list 'devil-translations '(", 2" . #'project-compile))

directly, but, unless I am missing something, that's not possible?
