Security fixes are prioritized for the current source version of FastTab and the official distributed app from fasttab.theindie.app. Older local builds, forks, and custom app bundles are not actively supported.
Please do not report security vulnerabilities in public issues, discussions, or pull requests.
Use GitHub's private vulnerability reporting for this repository when it is available. If private reporting is unavailable, contact the maintainer through the official support path linked from fasttab.theindie.app and include enough detail to reproduce and assess the issue.
Helpful reports include:
- The affected FastTab version, commit, or build source.
- Your macOS version and browser or Finder source involved.
- Clear reproduction steps.
- The expected and observed behavior.
- Any logs, screenshots, or proof-of-concept details that can be shared safely.
The maintainer will review valid reports and may ask for more detail. Confirmed vulnerabilities will be handled privately until a fix or mitigation is available. Public disclosure should be coordinated with the maintainer so users have a reasonable chance to update first.
FastTab is source-available. The supported product is the official signed app. Local development builds, modified forks, third-party packaging, private signing setups, and local environment problems may be out of scope unless the issue also affects the official app or current source version.
