Appspace status shows "REady" even if initial app creation process fails to complete

Currently experiencing a glitch with creating an appspace, and even tough the migration doesn't finish, the status in manage appspace shows "Ready". Despite there is no app version, and schema of zero.

I had this comment in appspace status: "should appspace metadb schema be a factor? Or should an appspace always be on the correct schema?"

Partial mitigation in the commit above. But there are a lot of things going on here. I'd have to create an app that fails its initial migration, and then work to make this a recoverable situation.
