TotalFreedomMod is a CraftBukkit server plugin designed primarily to support the TotalFreedom Minecraft Server. However, you are more than welcome to adapt the source for your own server.
This plugin was originally coded by StevenLawson (Madgeek1450), with Jerom van der Sar (Prozza) becoming heavily involved in its development some time later. It consists of over 85 custom coded commands and a large variety of distinguishable features not included in any other plugin. The plugin has since its beginning grown immensely. Together, with the main TotalFreedom server, TotalFreedomMod has a long-standing reputation of effectiveness whilst maintaining a clear feeling of openness towards the administrators and the players themselves.
Since then, the plugin has been widely adopted by numerous servers in order to fully create the experience of a freedom server. This repository seeks to bring that traditional server experience into the modern era by updating TotalFreedomMod to be compatible with newer versions of Minecraft servers.
As of current, TotalFreedomMod is compatible with Paper 1.21.11-R0.1-SNAPSHOT (last tested on 1.21.11-54-main@6da8af7). It may work on older versions and/or server types, however there has been no testing performed to this end.
As of TotalFreedomMod 6.0, the plugin no longer requires any dependencies in order to run.
The following plugins hook into TotalFreedomMod and are only necessary for specific features of the plugin to function as intended. However, these plugins are not required for TotalFreedomMod to run.
- Vault (supports both the original library and https://github.com/TheNewEconomy/VaultUnlockedAPI)
- WorldEdit 7.3.x
- TF-WorldEdit 2.0.x (tested on v2.0-pre1, specially compiled for this plugin; requires WorldEdit)
- LibsDisguises 11.0.x
- EssentialsX 2.21.x (including EssentialsChat, EssentialsSpawn and EssentialsDiscord)
- BukkitTelnet 4.x (deprecated; no longer guaranteed to work)
Section 2.1 of the TotalFreedom General License states that "Redistructions of This Software must solely occur in Source form. Redistribution in Object form is prohibited without prior written permission from the Licensor."
As such, the TotalFreedom Organization is prohibited from distributing compiled binaries of TotalFreedomMod. In order to add the plugin to your own server, you may compile TotalFreedomMod for yourself. For more information, read Compiling.
