Adds PostgreSQL alongside MySQL/MariaDB and converts core persistence to Doctrine. The 357 mapped entities own their schema declarations. Fresh installation replays a frozen DBAL baseline and seeds through the existing migration ledger; adoption requires 2.1.3 before 2.2.0. Remaining domain and polymorphic ownership conversions are in progress.

Core reads use one query implementation where callers have a fixed domain. The cleanup removes speculative ORM/legacy forks, obsolete DBAL NoResult wrappers and fixtures created solely to exercise those forks. Real plugin queries, structured joins, selected connections and retained dirty managers preserve their contracts. Translation-name lookup uses model criteria uniformly; copies preserve source asset attachments, and missing foreign keys are installed per table. Historical definitions remain unchanged.

Validation uses PHP 8.2/8.5 across PostgreSQL 14/18, MySQL 8.4 and MariaDB 11.8. On published revision c237d24, lint, isolated units, LDAP, IMAP, Web API and browser tests pass. All eight public installs passed. Seven database rows passed native migration replay and ordinary units; their full functional suites and final schemas are still running. MariaDB/PHP8.5 hit the unchanged 600-second native deadline; its downstream suites and schema check were skipped. CI remains red.

Infocom ownership, inherited nullable User preferences and remaining manager ownership require integration and native qualification. Whole-page profiling and final migration/test-diff simplification follow the remaining persistence conversions. No overall speedup or universal single-manager behavior is claimed.
