#EscapeHellsKitchen

Name of game: Escape Hell's Kitchen

Group members: Ana Morais, Jasmine Rodelas, Samantha Georges, Malaika Joiner

Game Play:

  • Our game has an escape room style, where the player is trapped in a kitchen
  • Throughout the game play, the player will find notes written by an ex employee about his journey of escaping but with a twist at the end
  • Some effects we want to implement are darkening sides of viewpoint, proximity sounds, footsteps, and jumpscares
  • While working at the restaurant, the player has side tasks of making food for the boss

Goals: We are all doing a mix of design and implementation but on different sections of the game

Ana:

  • Finalize each scene environment
  • Add colliders to all objects necessary
  • Add a drivethrough window
  • Implement customers going to the window and pop up text for orders that need to be made

Jasmine:

  • Main menu and start scenes
  • Pop ups for directions of game play (guide)
  • Pop ups that describe gameplay as game goes on

Sam:

  • Make food pop ups (ingredients, item, etc)
  • Implemet a quote of items
  • Make orders appear one at a time
  • When the order is correct, make order disappear and some kind of sound or indication it was correct

Malaika:

  • Implement inntectaction with food items (pick up, drop)
  • Deliver to counter
  • Cook patty in stove
  • Implement assembly of food
