Updated Squid engine to V7.4 using .NET engine V8 and upgrade WIX installer to HeatWave
Instructions: Run the squid.msi to install and set your browser to point to localhost proxy port 3128

Note: Squid proxy when hosted locally on a windows machine is not compatible with ad-blocker extension: ublock Origins's "Block Outsider Intrusion into LAN" filter, it must be turned off for the proxy to render website content correctly.

Post release Fixes as of 25/02/2026
Additional .net dll now included in squid_v7.4.msi which will fix the installer error.
Updated service stop/start logic to be more robust.
Fixed some service access issues from the squid tray
