Android Packages Not Getting Installed

What seems to be going wrong?

APK files transferred via DashBeam fail to install automatically when tapping "Open" upon completion. While the file transfers successfully and manual installation via a file manager works as expected, the DashBeam app's post-transfer intent fails to properly pass the file URI to the Android system's built-in Package Installer.

How can we reproduce this?

1. Open the DashBeam app on your Windows PC.
2. Select an Android package file (example.apk) and initiate the transfer.
3. Choose a paired Android phone as the recipient.
4. Accept the incoming transfer request on the phone and wait for the file transfer to complete.
5. Once the transfer is finished, tap "Open" from within DashBeam.
6. When the system picker appears for package installers, select the built-in "Package Installer".
