A single static binary as PID 1 for Linux — services supervised by a weight-state machine, no systemd. Reclaims its satellite daemons too, as native opt-in replacements: logind, udev, dbus, journald. PID 1 holds 1–4 MB RSS in one thread, frees ~500 MB RAM, and idle cores reach 92–99% C10 deep sleep.
Auto screen & keyboard backlight from an ambient light sensor — compositor-agnostic Linux daemon (sysfs IIO + logind, no DE required)
X11 idle/sleep inhibition daemon
Car-alarm-style intrusion guard for Linux desktops: a USB or Bluetooth remote arms a guard that locks your session, and touching the machine trips a countdown, a siren and a timestamped webcam still.
