Alone in the Dark (3DO, Europe, 1994): the first disc in five whose sector map does not close. 14.83 % of it is two other computers -- 34 MB of a PC's Watcom C/C++ 10.0 at the end of the pressing, 24 MB of a Macintosh build machine inside the files. Coverage moved 49.00 % to 90.79 %.

Index of the 3DO disc documentation: one repository per pressing, plus the shared Opera-filesystem platform checklist they feed into. Empty so far - created before the first disc so that disc one has a structure to be filed into. Format archaeology only, no disc images, no game assets.

AD&D Slayer (3DO, 1994) documented from a CHD: 151,340 sectors all attributed, 87.6184 % identified, 67.4093 % uncompressed AIFF, the ANIM container walked (370 files, 2,516 frames), a twin whose OS differs by 68 bytes, and a pressing date in /rom_tags. Credits decoded, counted, not transcribed.

One retail 3DO CD-ROM, measured: FIFA International Soccer (Europe), 1994. 63.35 % of it is 43 Cinepak films of 1960s-80s World Cup footage - 19,597 frames at exactly 15 fps, all decoded. Data Streamer with no SHDR. Two studio formats derived. No product bytes.

Wolfenstein 3D (3DO, USA, 1995) read end to end: 56,702 sectors, 197 files, 59.79 % recorded audio. The Data Streamer the 3DO checklist had marked dead for two discs, decoded frame by frame - and its codec is Cinepak, spelled 'cvid' in lower case. Six two-disc rules broken.

A Japanese 3DO CD-ROM of April 1994 that presses a third of itself twice. 80 files with up to seven copies, 90,050,560 bytes of duplicated content against a platform rule, and the unit of duplication is a contiguous run of files across directories. Eight Cinepak films, 77 IMAG images, 1,157 cels, and the game's script in plain Shift-JIS.

A 3DO CD-ROM read from the volume label up: 86.2465 % of it is recorded music, 733 Cel Control Blocks derived from the bytes, and the second disc of the platform, opened to find out which of the first disc's findings were about the 3DO and which about one studio.

Byte-level measurements of Crash 'n Burn (3DO, Crystal Dynamics, 1993), the first 3DO disc in this collection. An Opera file system reader written from scratch; 451 files, not the 326 a mis-read next_block field showed; 7,239 frames of a codec the studio wrote because Cinepak had not shipped.
