This is my next generation of bike POV displays with extended functionality, a more polished design and an easier user-experience.
A rotating POV (Persistence of Vision) display built with ESP32 and APA102 LED strips, supporting image animations from flash or UDP streaming.
High-speed POV video display — live webcam frames streamed to a spinning 16-LED RGB arm via 4-byte binary protocol on STM32F103
Persistence of Vision (POV) is an optical phenomenon where an image remains on the retina for a short time even after the object is no longer visible. By leveraging this phenomenon with an Arduino Nano and LEDs arranged on a rotating platform, we can create the illusion of characters and symbols appearing in mid-air.
