Two notions of tightness for the flat overhand knot — paper, exact/interval certificate suite, and Lean 4 formalization. Kauffman's pentagon minimizes truncation length; core-length pulling crosses it to a degree-12 S6-algebraic tight state; exact figure-eight hexagon in Q(sqrt 15).
