The axe WCAG job has been failing on main and on every open Dependabot PR, which is why three of them (#90, #94, #96) are blocked on a check that has nothing to do with their contents. It is not the PRs. The same job passed on 2026-09-01 and fails on 2026-09-04 with no change to this repo - the runner moved to Chrome 151 and @axe-core/cli still bundles a chromedriver pinned to whatever Chrome was current when it published. The mismatched pair brings up a session where axe-core never finishes injecting, so it dies on 'Cannot read properties of undefined (reading runPartial)'. Pointing at "$(which chromedriver)" cannot help, because that IS the bundled binary. nanasess/setup-chromedriver installs the driver matching the runner's actual Chrome. chatislam already does this and its axe job is green today; the fix just never got ported here. Also passing the CI-stable headless flags and CHROMEDRIVER_FILEPATH so the npm package reuses the matched binary. islamwiki has the same gap and will hit this on the next Chrome bump. Not touching it in this commit because its CI is currently green.
