🐛 Fixes Issue #10 - Amazon Module State Parameter Decoding

Problem

Amazon OAuth returns state parameters in a double-encoded format with HTML entities that caused JSON parsing failures in the HelloJS library.

Solution

  • Added Amazon-specific state parameter detection and decoding
  • Implemented decodeURIComponent(escape()) for Amazon's double-encoding
  • Added HTML entity replacement ("", '', etc.)
  • Included comprehensive error handling with fallback
  • Maintained full backward compatibility for all other OAuth providers

Changes Made

  • Core Fix: Modified responseHandler function in src/hello.js
  • Test Suite: Added test_amazon_fix.html with comprehensive test cases
  • Documentation: Created AMAZON_FIX_README.md with technical details

Testing

✅ Amazon state parameter decoding works correctly
✅ HTML entities are properly replaced
✅ Non-Amazon providers remain unaffected
✅ Error handling prevents breaking changes

Backward Compatibility

✅ No breaking changes to existing functionality
✅ All other OAuth providers work as before
✅ Safe fallback if Amazon decoding fails
