pnpm --filter eve build:js runs vendor-compiled.mjs twice on main. Both invocations report that compiled vendor modules are already up to date. Five cached build:compiled runs took a median 1,036 ms each.

The duplicate comes from nested package scripts:

build:js
├─ build:compiled
└─ build:types
   └─ build:compiled

The hypothesis is that build:types can remain the single owner of its compiled-module prerequisite. Removing the outer call should cut one vendor fingerprint and package-resolution pass from every JavaScript build without changing artifacts.

After this change, the data flow is:

build:js
└─ build:types
   └─ build:compiled

Before, build:js logged two vendor invocations. After, it logs one. A full before-and-after build produced 2,834 files with zero differences between their SHA-256 manifests.

Validated with:

pnpm --filter eve build:js
pnpm --filter eve typecheck
pnpm guard:invariants
pnpm exec oxfmt --check packages/eve/package.json
git diff --check

No changeset is needed because this only changes internal build orchestration.
