Brew session: guard/warn when starting a step out of sequence #37
User feedback (forum, v0.4.0, 2026-05-28) — Arwen.
Dans la partie brassage je peux lancer n'importe quelle étape sans avoir effectué les précédentes. Peut-être également un warning ?
Current behaviour
startStep(stepId) activates any step by id with no prerequisite check — it just marks any currently-active step done and activates the target, regardless of whether earlier steps ran.
When the brewer starts a step while earlier steps are still pending, warn (e.g. "Mash-out hasn't been started — start the boil anyway?") and let them confirm.
Keep it a soft guard, not a hard lock — real brew days skip/reorder, so block silently nothing; just surface the out-of-order jump.
Shipped in v0.5.0 (#39): starting a step while earlier ones are still pending now asks for confirmation — soft guard, since real brew days skip and reorder.
