Completed — Repository Rename

• Repository renamed from senor-808-portfolio to senor-808.

• Canonical, Open Graph, Twitter image, favicon, README, and source-governance references were updated through Pull Request Finalize repository rename and production URLs #3.

• Replace the internal Work-section sentence A publish-now portfolio grid using the recovered visual assets. with audience-facing portfolio copy.

Desktop QA Update — July 13, 2026

Desktop review is materially positive after Pull Request #8.

Confirmed on Desktop

• Latest main deployment is green in GitHub Actions.
• Header wordmark, primary navigation, and controlled-pink Start A Project CTA are visually balanced.
• Hero hierarchy and dual-CTA treatment are functioning as intended.
• Section introductions no longer use undersized eyebrow headers.
• Selected Work, Visual Language, Media And Live Formats, Creative Focus, Process & Availability, and Start A Project now have clearer spacing and typographic rhythm.
• The guided three-step inquiry shell is visible and visually aligned with the former Dynamic View concept.
• Desktop artwork cards, filters, and Back to Top control appear correctly styled.

Still Required Before Closing This Issue

• Tablet QA at representative widths, including approximately 768px and 820–1024px.
• Mobile QA at representative widths, including approximately 360px, 390px, and 430px.
• Mobile navigation, CTA stacking, filter wrapping, artwork-card sizing, lightbox controls, form-step layout, required-field validation, and footer stacking.

No additional desktop design changes should be made until the responsive QA identifies a specific defect.

Responsive QA + Form Test Plan

Responsive QA

• No physical tablet is required for first-pass validation.
• Recommended implementation: add a Playwright-based, manually triggered GitHub Actions workflow that captures full-page screenshots at 360, 390, 768, 820, and 1024 CSS-pixel widths.
• Upload the screenshots as a downloadable workflow artifact for human/AI review.
• Keep the iPhone SE as the real-device mobile spot check because emulation remains an approximation.
• Defer pixel-diff gating until stable baseline screenshots are approved.

Form QA

• It is technically possible to switch the FormSubmit recipient temporarily to brian.j.curr@gmail.com.
• Testing against Brian's address validates all six inquiry paths, subject routing, field formatting, redirect behavior, and email delivery.
• This does not eliminate Bob's later one-time FormSubmit activation requirement; Bob's Gmail must still be confirmed when restored.
• Preferred sequence: short, controlled QA branch/change window; test all options; document outputs; restore therealsenor808@gmail.com; complete Bob activation; send one final production submission.

Remaining Gate

Issue #2 should stay open until responsive screenshot review, iPhone SE spot check, temporary-recipient QA, Bob-recipient activation, and final live submission all pass.

Focused Execution Control — Responsive QA Infrastructure

Pull Request #9 has been merged to main.

Completed

• Added a reusable Playwright-based responsive QA capture workflow.
• Added full-page captures at 360, 390, 768, 820, and 1024 CSS-pixel widths.
• Added captures for mobile navigation, Work filtering, artwork lightbox, inquiry Steps 1–3, and the tablet footer.
• Added horizontal-overflow findings in Markdown and JSON.
• Preserved normal deployment behavior; no public UI, content, or form recipient was changed.
• Configured one initial automatic run after merge and manual runs thereafter.

Current Hold

Do not change the production form recipient while Bry is away. The temporary recipient swap will be executed only during a controlled QA window so genuine inquiries are not silently redirected.

Next Human Gate

1. Confirm the Capture Responsive QA workflow completed successfully.
2. Download the senor-808-responsive-qa-* artifact and provide it for visual review.
3. After responsive findings are resolved, open the temporary Brian-recipient QA window.
4. Restore Bob’s recipient, complete his one-time activation, and run one final production smoke test.

Standalone QA-app productization and pixel-diff baselines remain deferred until this workflow has been proven across multiple sites.

Responsive QA Review Pack — First Pass

The first Playwright QA artifact was reviewed across 360, 390, 768, 820, and 1,024 CSS-pixel layouts.

Confirmed Passes

• No horizontal overflow was detected at any captured width.
• Mobile typography, single-column artwork cards, Visual Language cards, Media cards, About content, Process & Availability, inquiry Step 1, and footer stacking remain readable.
• Tablet work filters, filtered gallery state, artwork lightbox, guided inquiry fields, review screen, and footer are structurally sound.
• Tablet landscape preserves the approved desktop-style navigation and cinematic hero composition.

Findings Requiring A Controlled Polish Pass

• Tablet portrait hero layouts carried excessive vertical dead space and cropped Bob's portrait too aggressively.
• The open mobile navigation allowed underlying hero content and a second visible Start A Project CTA to compete with the menu.
• Several full-page tablet screenshots showed unloaded gallery images even though the focused filter capture confirmed the assets were valid. This was a QA-capture timing issue caused by lazy loading, not a verified production-site image failure.
• Fixed controls and the keyboard skip link appeared inside isolated inquiry screenshots, creating misleading evidence artifacts.

Completed Correction

Pull Request #10 was created, validated successfully, and squash-merged into main.

It:

• Compresses the tablet portrait hero and repositions the hero background to retain Bob's portrait.
• Adds a stronger mobile-menu backdrop.
• Forces image loading before automated full-page capture.
• Adds image-load reporting to future artifacts.
• Removes fixed navigation and accessibility controls from isolated section screenshots only.

The remaining completion gates are:

1. Review the automatically generated second responsive QA artifact.
2. Complete Bry's real-device iPhone SE spot check.
3. Run the controlled temporary Gmail form-delivery test, then restore and activate Bob's production recipient.

Real-Device Mobile QA — iPhone SE (3rd Generation)

Bry supplied three live-site screenshots from an iPhone SE (3rd generation).

Confirmed Passes

• Header wordmark and Menu control are readable, balanced, and comfortably touch-sized.
• Hero headline wraps without horizontal overflow or clipped characters.
• Introductory copy remains readable at the narrow device width.
• Primary and secondary hero CTAs stack cleanly and preserve clear hierarchy.
• Proof-point labels and values remain legible.
• Selected Work heading, tagline, descriptive copy, filter controls, and first artwork card render without horizontal overflow.
• Filter pills remain large enough for touch interaction and wrap predictably.

Focused Mobile Refinements Identified

• The four proof points use nearly a full mobile viewport because they collapse into one tall column. A compact 2-by-2 mobile grid would preserve the information while improving page rhythm.
• The floating Back to Top control overlaps the first artwork card. On an art-first page, the control should not obscure artwork; reduce it, suppress it within the Work section, or otherwise reposition its mobile behavior.

Current Gate Status

The real-device mobile structure is materially sound. The remaining responsive work is a small visual-rhythm polish pass rather than a layout repair. The separate contact-form delivery and recipient-activation gates remain open.

Responsive Device Audit — July 28, 2026

Reviewed the supplied desktop baseline screenshots plus the uploaded tablet/mobile Chrome Device Mode pack covering iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad Mini, Surface Pro 7, iPhone SE, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Evidence Interpretation

• The approved desktop composition remains the governing baseline and was not changed.
• Several tablet screenshots were manually cropped while Chrome scaled the emulated viewport. Apparent right-edge clipping in those files was therefore not treated as proof of site overflow.
• The previously automated QA pack reported no horizontal overflow.
• Repeated, device-supported rhythm issues were limited to the long mobile proof stack, floating Back to Top overlap, oversized stacked tablet portrait, touch-target consistency, and an unnecessarily long tablet media-card stack.

Completed In Pull Request #11

• Mobile proof strip changed to a compact 2×2 layout.
• Back to Top hidden below 640 px so it cannot cover artwork or cards.
• Work filters increased to a reliable touch-target height.
• Media And Live Formats uses a two-plus-one layout at 769–920 px and returns to one column at 768 px and below.
• Stacked About portrait constrained to a maximum 520 px width.
• Tablet/mobile section-introduction spacing tightened without changing copy.
• Desktop typography, composition, content, and layout preserved.

Pull Request #11 passed the TypeScript and Vite production-build workflow and was squash-merged into main.

Remaining Completion Gate

Responsive code refinement is complete pending the post-deployment visual spot check. The remaining substantive production gate is verified contact-form delivery and final recipient activation.

Controlled Formspree testing is complete for all six website inquiry routes:

• Name, location, timeline, budget, reference link, and project details are preserved.

1. Confirm the final Formspree endpoint or notification-recipient configuration for Bob Garcia.
2. Configure a branded Señor 808 thank-you redirect.
