Scope

Authorized coordinated identity-chrome refinement following human QA rejection of Footer v5.0.

Header v2.0 — Quiet Frame

  • Preserve the established desktop wordmark/navigation/Start A Project architecture.
  • Refine compact navigation into a true full-width top drawer rather than a floating card.
  • Preserve focus management, Escape handling, scroll isolation, active-section state, and existing destinations.
  • Compact-menu control reads Close while expanded and restores Menu when dismissed.

Hero v2.0 — Artist-First

  • Replace equal-lane Visual Artist & Audio Storyteller headline with High-Contrast Visual Art.
  • Supporting copy: Spray paint, acrylic layering, and mixed-media mark-making—moving between portraiture, typography, and geometry.
  • Add restrained developing-extension line: Image meets voice through a developing audio storytelling practice.
  • Preserve the approved hero portrait asset, protected text zone, narrow-mobile 60% focal position, and dual CTA destinations.
  • Reduce excess narrow-mobile hero dead space without making the hero short.

Footer v6.0 — Studio Signature

  • Preserve the no-Explore/no-footer-CTA minimal-signoff content contract.
  • Replace Visual Artist & Audio Storyteller footer prominence with Image Meets Voice.
  • Restore restrained Instagram / Threads micro-labels so the social utility cluster reads intentionally rather than as floating glyphs.
  • Keep social destinations and accessible names unchanged.
  • Keep copyright quiet and aligned with the social utility cluster.
  • Suppress Back to Top while the footer is in view so it does not compete with the signature.

Source Governance

The current Brand Architecture governs: visual art is the established primary lane; audio/podcasting and related media are a developing extension. The visual system remains dark-first, cinematic, minimal, and controlled-pink.

Bounded change surface

  • src/footer-responsive-final.css
  • src/identity-chrome-v2.css (new)
  • src/identity-chrome-v2.ts (new)
  • src/main.tsx
  • scripts/capture-identity-chrome-qa.mjs (new)
  • scripts/capture-responsive-qa.mjs (QA assertion only: update principal-flow hero expectation to the approved Hero v2 heading)
  • .github/workflows/gallery-refinement-qa.yml

Explicitly unchanged

Artwork files/metadata/order, Selected Work rail/grid/filter/lightbox, Creative Focus and biography copy, Visual Language, Media & Live Formats, Smart Routing inquiry flow/FormSubmit arrangement, social URLs, hero image file, dependencies, deployment workflow, and overall one-page architecture.

Release gate

Do not merge until build/SEO, standard responsive QA, Selected Work regression QA, coordinated Header/Hero/Footer QA, and human visual review all pass. No direct push to main.

Final Release Gate — PASS

Release authorization was received from Bry in the project chat on 2026-08-30 to proceed within the already bounded PR #44 scope.

The AI Advisor completed a final visual review of the exact candidate 06d25c2872dcf31a5dade8e2de5101ca21dd0e1c using the successful GitHub Actions evidence from Responsive QA #49 and Selected Work Gallery QA #28.

Visual disposition:

  • Header v2.0 — Quiet Frame: PASS
  • Hero v2.0 — Artist-First: PASS
  • Footer v6.0 — Studio Signature: PASS
  • Responsive containment / interaction evidence: PASS
  • Cross-browser principal flows: PASS
  • 43/43 images loaded at governed responsive widths; no horizontal overflow; no runtime or failed-request findings.

Final drift check confirmed main remains at rollback baseline 03513d8ec5de8bb701e36b7f30baa9cb55751ac2 and PR #44 head remains unchanged at the reviewed candidate SHA.

Proceeding through the governed ready-for-review and controlled merge path. No direct push to main.

Ready-for-Review Connector Limitation

The GitHub ready-for-review mutation failed at the connector layer because its GraphQL response selection requests Repository.fullDatabaseId, a field GitHub no longer exposes. This is the same class of connector limitation previously encountered during the August artwork release.

No repository content changed. PR #44 remains unmerged and its reviewed head remains 06d25c2872dcf31a5dade8e2de5101ca21dd0e1c.

To preserve governance rather than bypass the draft state, this draft PR will be closed without merge and the exact same head branch/candidate will be carried into a non-draft successor PR against unchanged main.
