Did you manage to reproduce it using tests here? Maybe we could add the testcase.

Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce the issue using the tests here. The reproducer is essentially the same as in #190, but in this case, the problem seem to only occurs in multi-module projects. AFAIK, our current test setup doesn't cover this scenario.
