YEB CurrencyAPI

PHP SDK for the YEB Currency API. Exchange rates, conversion, platform fees and historical data.

Works standalone (plain PHP) or with Laravel (Facade + auto-discovery).

Requirements

• PHP 8.1+
• cURL extension
• YEB API Key (free tier available)

Installation

composer require yebto/currency-api

Standalone Usage

use Yebto\CurrencyAPI\CurrencyAPI;

$api = new CurrencyAPI(['key' => 'your-api-key']);
$result = $api->rates('example', []);

Laravel Usage

Add your API key to .env:

YEB_KEY_ID=your-api-key

Use via Facade:

use CurrencyAPI;

$result = CurrencyAPI::rates('example', []);

Or via dependency injection:

use Yebto\CurrencyAPI\CurrencyAPI;

public function handle(CurrencyAPI $api)
{
    $result = $api->rates('example', []);
}

Publish Config

php artisan vendor:publish --tag=yebto-currency-config

Available Methods

Method	Description
currencies()	List all supported currencies
rates($base, $targets)	Get exchange rates for a base currency
convert($from, $to, $amount)	Convert an amount between currencies
platforms()	List platforms with their transfer fees
historical($base, $target)	Get historical exchange rate data

All methods accept an optional $extra array parameter for additional API options.
