The GitHub and Twitter accounts are now yossdotpro, and the contact email is contact@yoss.pro.

Links

  • About dialog (GitHub repository and Twitter @yossdotpro), status bar, extensions panel and news/news.json now point to yossdotpro.
  • README: the license badge and the issues link are updated, and the tagline is now "Made with 💙 and ReactJS." (no country).
  • Legacy electron/package.json repository URL and the example author in docs/plugin_system.md.

App identifier: com.yossthedev.karbonized → com.yossdotpro.karbonized

  • Electron: electron-builder.json and electron/electron-builder.config.json
  • Tauri: src-tauri/tauri.conf.json
  • Capacitor: capacitor.config.ts and electron/capacitor.config.ts
  • Android: namespace and applicationId in build.gradle, and strings.xml. MainActivity.java moves to com/yossdotpro/karbonized.
  • TWA: the package_name in public/.well-known/assetlinks.json becomes com.yossdotpro.karbonized.twa.

Author email: package.json now uses contact@yoss.pro.

The operating systems treat this as a new app:

  • On Windows the new installer does not replace an install made with the old id, so both can end up installed side by side.
  • On macOS the preferences domain changes.
  • On Android the new id is a different app on Google Play, and the TWA published under com.yossthedev.karbonized.twa stops validating against assetlinks.json unless it is republished with the new package name.

Saved data isn't affected: the app's data folder is named after the product (karbonized), not the id.

tsc and Prettier pass; the changed JSON files parse.

The GitHub account is now yossdotpro: the About dialog, the status bar,
the extensions panel, the news feed and the README (license badge,
issues) link there. The README tagline no longer names a country.

The About dialog links to twitter.com/yossdotpro, and the legacy Electron
package and the extension docs example use the new handle.

The app identifier follows the new handle in every build: Electron
(electron-builder), Tauri, Capacitor and the Android project, whose Java
package moves to com/yossdotpro/karbonized. The TWA package in
assetlinks.json follows. The author email is contact@yoss.pro.
