v1.15.0Compare Source
Release Notes: Version 1.15.0
This release adds row streaming with
fetch()on every driver, a Gradle plugin that configures sqlx4k from a singlesqlx4k { }block, and database-reported error details onSQLError.🚀 New Features
fetch():db.fetch(sql, fetchSize = 1_000)returns a coldFlow<ResultSet.Row>;fetch(sql, rowMapper)returnsFlow<T>. Rows are emitted as the database produces them, in chunks offetchSize, instead of being collected in memory. Available on PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, SQLite and SQLite-Cipher, on native and JVM drivers, pools, connections and transactions. A failure fails the collection with anSQLError.io.github.smyrgeorge.sqlx4k): Configure the driver, generated package, extensions (Pgmq,Arrow) and code-generatorargsfrom one block. The plugin applies KSP, registerssqlx4k-codegen, wires generated sources and task ordering, and adds the driver and extension dependencies at the matching version (addDependencies = falseto opt out). The examples now build with it.SQLError: newsqlState(PostgreSQL, MySQL),nativeCode(MySQL, SQLite) andkindproperties.SQLError.Kindclassifies errors portably:UniqueViolation,ForeignKeyViolation,NotNullViolation,CheckViolation,ExclusionViolation,Deadlock,SerializationFailure,LockTimeout,Other. Same mapping on native and JVM drivers.🐛 Fixes
cargobuilds and cinterop tasks are serialized via a shared build service, so concurrent target builds no longer race on the generated cbindgen header.🛠 Improvements
sync+macrosfeatures,futures-core/futures-utilfor row streams.QueryExecutorgained abstractfetch(...)members. Custom implementations of the interface must add them; built-in drivers are unaffected.📦 Dependency Updates

Release Notes: Version 1.14.0
This release adds optimistic locking, transaction savepoints and MariaDB batch inserts, and hardens the native drivers so connection errors are reported instead of aborting the process.
🚀 New Features
@Version: Annotate a single non-nullableInt/Longproperty. Generatedupdate()/delete()check the version,update()/batchUpdate()increment it in SQL and read it back viaRETURNING. Conflicts fail with the newSQLError.Code.OptimisticLockFailed. In-memory test repositories behave the same way.savepoint(name),releaseSavepoint(name),rollbackToSavepoint(name), plus a scopedsavepoint { ... }: Result<T>that releases on success and rolls back on failure.batchInsertvia multi-rowINSERT ... RETURNING(MariaDB 10.5+).batchUpdateis reported as unsupported on MariaDB.🐛 Fixes
CancellationExceptionis rethrown rather than captured in aResult.SQLErrorinstead of panicking. Messages containing NUL bytes are sanitized.🛠 Improvements
