Hi, I'm Zahra Ghafghazi

I am an MSc Business Analytics student at the University of Geneva, with a background in Industrial Engineering and experience across data analysis, forecasting, business decision-making, and coaching.

My interests sit at the intersection of data, people, and decision-making. I enjoy working on projects that combine analytical thinking with a deeper understanding of human behavior, learning, communication, and organizational improvement.

I use data not only to build models, but also to understand patterns, support better decisions, and translate complex information into practical insights.

Bachelor’s thesis project focused on forecasting demand for steel bloom and billet products using regression and time series methods.

This project combined forecasting models, market-related data, and analytical evaluation to support demand planning and decision-making.

Bern Temperature Forecasting

Machine Learning course project focused on predicting temperature in Bern, Switzerland, for 12-hour, 24-hour, and 48-hour horizons.

The project involved data preprocessing, feature engineering, model comparison, and performance evaluation.

Advanced Data-Driven Decision Making Case Studies

A collection of business analytics case studies completed using R .

The case studies explore topics such as experience curve analysis, customer quality perceptions, brand equity, factor analysis, and structural equation modelling.
