You can use the filename of your document as drawing title. When checked, the name of your document will be mapped with a given property to the spreadsheet. Enter the name of the property in the input box.

When the titleblock do have property fields for these values, you can map these values to the spreadsheet. For every value that you want to map, enter the name of the property you want the value mapped to.

Not all drawing titleblocks have mentioned the units of your documents or the total number of pages in your document. Optional you can store these values in the spreadsheet. Check the values that you want to store.

You can use an external source to import data into a spreadsheet. When checked, do the following:
- Select an excel workbook from which you want the data from or export the data to.
- Enter the name of the worksheet you want to import data from or export the data to.
- Enter the start cell. This is the top left cell of the table with the data. Optionally you fill the titleblock when importing the data to the spreadsheet. To enable this checkbox (1a).

You can import the settings from the excel workbook. When checked, do the following:
- Enter the name of the worksheet you want to import settings from.
- Enter the start cell. This is the top left cell of the table with the settings.

You can add a toolbar to the TechDraw Workbench. This toolbar will contains two controls. One to fill the titleblocks in our TechDraw pages. The second one to import data to the spreadsheet. This button will change depending of the use of external source is enabled or not.

There are example templates for drawings present with this workbench. When checked, the default template folder of the TechDraw Workbench will be set to the folder with these example templates. Secondly select a default template. The default template of the TechDraw Workbench will be set to the chosen example template.

You can enable the Developer mode. When checked, extra information will be shown in the report view of FreeCAD.
Important note: After changing settings in the preference menu, FreeCAD needs to be restarted!
