Summary

Upgrades IX-StellaratorForge from v0.5.0 to v0.9.0 with the SFR-2 actuation overlay, SFR-3 field integrity and dual-boundary studies, and the SFR-4 integrated physical-promotion campaign.

Included work

  1. Adds new reactor configurations, schemas, provenance records, evidence contracts, and reproducible result artifacts.

  2. Adds complete architecture BOMs for the SFR-2 actuation overlay, SFR-3 field integrity shell, SFR-3 dual-boundary architecture, and SFR-4 integrated campaign.

  3. Adds deterministic tests for actuation, synthetic controllability, dual-boundary behavior, heat exhaust, and the integrated campaign.

  4. Expands the reactor documentation through the SFR-4 decision and promotion gates.

  5. Preserves explicit scientific claim boundaries. Physical confinement, ignition, net-electric fusion, qualified magnets, full 3D TBR, and hardware operation remain unproven.

Verification

python check_stellarforge.py

Result: IX-STELLARATORFORGE: GREEN

The full self-contained test suite passes. The release manifest covers 301 files, and the staged commit passes Git whitespace validation.

Current SFR-4 result

The integrated campaign executed 80 direct-filament coil cases and produced zero topology passes. The declared nominal and steady heat-envelope screen passes, while equilibrium, transport, transient heat, qualified magnets, TBR, and fusion remain unproven.
