The dotted lunate sigmas (right) have a much more even length of arms compared to all other "c" shapes (middle). I personally prefer the more uniform shape, and it is more in line with APL385 (right):


The capitals have slightly longer bottom arm in APL387 (left), but not in APL385 (right), so maybe that's just each font's own style:

Maybe a compromise is best?
