Scorpion

Scorpions are hostile mobs introduced in version 1.5. They spawn in deserts and are more commonly encountered at night.

Trivia

Scorpions are green and spawn in cacti. They possess two types of poison attacks: melee and ranged. Upon being killed, they drop poison, which is used to craft Golden Bows and Arrows.

Awards

Defeating a scorpion earns the player an achievement titled "Get Over Here!".
