Per @cnicho35, a MATLAB version of this code, or some way to call this code should be provided for MATLAB users.
A proposed MATLAB API could look like:
modaq_data = modaq.read_mcap("/path/to/file/test.mcap")modaq_data would likely be a structure or table returned from the mcap file.
This could also be easily expanded to support multiple file formats that are supported by Python.
It would be ideal if this proposed MATLAB code was packaged as a toolbox for easy install.
