Hey folks,
This is related to #409 and #418. I know @jshoughtaling you were interested in perhaps merging this into #418 but I decided to keep it broken out as to slowly get my feet wet with contributing here and wanted to make sure these little rapid fire contributions I am making can get merged in quick(ish).

It seems like I do not need
pkgdownordevtoolsanymore to build this site. Otherwise, I get an error about aDESCRIPTIONfile not being found. Can I have a review here to make sure this looks alright?
