WebCite 是一个网页参考文献助手，可以一键抓取当前网页信息，并生成 APA 7th、GB/T 7714-2015 或 IEEE 格式引用。

安装前需要先安装一个用户脚本管理器，例如 Tampermonkey、Violentmonkey 或 ScriptCat。安装后如果没有出现悬浮窗，请先到浏览器扩展管理页，打开 Tampermonkey 的详情页，并确认“允许运行用户脚本”已经开启。

浏览器扩展安装方式

如果你使用的是 CRX 版本：

1. 下载 WebCite-V1.1.crx。
2. 打开浏览器扩展管理页：
   • Chrome：chrome://extensions/
   • Edge：edge://extensions/
3. 打开“开发者模式”。
4. 将 WebCite-V1.1.crx 拖入扩展管理页，确认添加扩展。

如果浏览器拦截非商店 CRX 安装，请使用备用方式：

1. 下载 WebCite-V1.1.zip。
2. 解压得到 WebCite-V1.1 文件夹。
3. 在扩展管理页点击“加载已解压的扩展”。
4. 选择解压出的 WebCite-V1.1 文件夹。

不要把 .zip 或 .crx 文件直接用于“加载已解压的扩展”；这个按钮只接受文件夹。

使用方法

• 打开任意网页，右下角会出现 WebCite 悬浮窗。
• 点击“添加”，将当前网页加入引用列表。
• 点击“引用”，复制当前网页的格式化引用。
• 点击齿轮按钮，打开引用列表和设置面板。
• 拖动悬浮窗左侧图标 ，可以移动悬浮窗位置。
• 在管理面板中可切换 APA、GB/T 7714、IEEE 格式。
• 可编辑、删除、复制单条引用，也可以导出 TXT、Markdown 或 JSON。

如果安装后看不到悬浮窗，请按下面顺序检查：

1. 确认 Tampermonkey 扩展详情页中已开启“允许运行用户脚本”。
2. 确认 WebCite 脚本在 Tampermonkey 中处于启用状态。
3. 刷新当前网页。
4. 确认当前页面是普通 http:// 或 https:// 网页。浏览器内置页面、扩展管理页、Chrome Web Store、部分新标签页通常不允许运行用户脚本。

WebCite is a web citation helper that captures metadata from the current page and formats it as APA 7th, GB/T 7714-2015, or IEEE references.

Before installing, you need a userscript manager such as Tampermonkey, Violentmonkey, or ScriptCat. If the floating window does not appear after installation, open Tampermonkey's details page in your browser extensions page and make sure “Allow User Scripts” is enabled.

Browser Extension Installation

For the CRX version:

1. Download WebCite-V1.1.crx.
2. Open your browser extensions page:
   • Chrome: chrome://extensions/
   • Edge: edge://extensions/
3. Enable “Developer mode.”
4. Drag WebCite-V1.1.crx into the extensions page and confirm installation.

If your browser blocks non-store CRX installation, use the fallback package:

1. Download WebCite-V1.1.zip.
2. Extract it to get the WebCite-V1.1 folder.
3. Click “Load unpacked” on the extensions page.
4. Select the extracted WebCite-V1.1 folder.

Do not use “Load unpacked” with a .zip or .crx file; it only accepts folders.

Usage

• Open any web page; the WebCite floating window appears near the lower-right corner.
• Click “添加” to add the current page to the citation list.
• Click “引用” to copy the formatted citation for the current page.
• Click the gear button to open citation list management and settings.
• Drag the WC handle to move the floating window.
• Switch between APA, GB/T 7714, and IEEE in the management panel.
• Edit, delete, or copy individual citations, and export TXT, Markdown, or JSON.

If the floating window does not appear after installation, check these items:

1. Make sure “Allow User Scripts” is enabled on Tampermonkey's extension details page.
2. Make sure the WebCite script is enabled in Tampermonkey.
3. Refresh the current page.
4. Make sure the page is a normal http:// or https:// page. Browser internal pages, extension pages, the Chrome Web Store, and some new-tab pages usually do not allow userscripts to run.
