Description

What is this PR

  • Bug fix
  • Addition of a new feature

Why is this PR needed?

The knowledge of how to make templates on our HPC is currently distributed across @viktorpm @niksirbi and my brains. We would like to make this more widely accessible.

What does this PR do?

Adds two HowTo guides aimed at people that are familiar with basic Python, bash and slurm already.

  • one guide for preprocessing the data
  • one guide for configuring the HPC job

Closes #457

How has this PR been tested?

  • based on running a low-res zebra finch template
  • will be tested at group meeting on 25 March 2026

Is this a breaking change?

Nope.

Does this PR require an update to the documentation?

It is one.
