Thank you for working on this Cris, at this point we definitely needed a more explicit association between format and the supported fields.

This pull request updates the documentation for chisel-releases to introduce support for the new
v3format and clarify format compatibility across Ubuntu releases. It also adds a compatibility matrix, improves the visibility of format changes, and updates theessentialfield documentation to distinguish between formats.
