**I tried controlling different sound sources - it didn't help.

There is duplication of sound, streaming over the network.**

Thanks for the report! To find out why Volume² doesn't change the volume in the stream, could you check a few things?

1. How does Sonifly Server get the sound? In the Sonifly settings, is it capturing your speakers/headphones ("loopback" / "what you hear"), or does it install its own virtual audio device? If it's a virtual device, please tell us its name as shown in Windows Sound settings.
2. Does the Windows volume slider change the volume on the phone? Click the speaker icon in the taskbar and move the slider while streaming. If the phone's volume doesn't change, Sonifly records the sound before the Windows master volume is applied, and Volume² (which changes the same master volume) can't affect it that way.
3. Try per-application volume: open Volume² Options → Main → "Change volume for:" and choose Active application (or Specified applications and add your player, e.g. a browser or AIMP). Then change the volume with Volume² while music plays. Does the volume on the phone change now?
4. Volume Mixer test: open the Windows Volume Mixer and lower the slider of the player application. Does the phone get quieter?

With these answers we'll know whether this needs a new option in Volume² (for example, changing the volume of all applications at once).
