Status and Progress

Warning

A green status indicates that the application completed the operation without a recorded fatal error.

It does not guarantee that every required file was copied, that the backup is complete, or that restoration will succeed.

Status Colors

  • Blue: No known or assigned backup result is available
  • Green: Backup completed
  • Yellow: Warning
  • Red: Error

Details

Hover over the status icon for a short summary.

Click the information icon for full details.

Review warnings even when the backup itself completed.

Skipped Files

Locked or unavailable files may be skipped when copy-error handling allows it.

Skipped files are listed individually when available.

A backup with skipped files may still receive a completed status.

Always review the details and verify the backup contents.

Progress

Progress is displayed directly in the backup-pair row.

  • Source operations fill the source cell
  • Target operations fill the target cell
  • The timer column shows the percentage

The normal timer display returns after completion.

Multiple pairs can show progress independently.

Destructive-Feature Markers

  • Red R: Retention is active
  • Cyan C: Source Cleanup is active
  • Both markers: Both features are active

A red warning banner is displayed in the toolbar while a destructive feature is active.

Verification

Status and progress information are operational indicators only.

They are not a substitute for:

  • Opening the created backup
  • Comparing important files
  • Testing ZIP integrity
  • Testing manual restoration
  • Maintaining an independent backup
